Annie Wersching Bio

Annie Wersching, born March 28, 1977 is an American actor best well-known for her character in 24 and the voice work that she performed for Tess in Naughty Dog's game The Last of Us. Wersching was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. She graduated in 1995 from Crossroads College Preparatory School. During her youth, she competed in Irish dance, and was a part of the St. Louis Celtic Stepdancers. Millikin University gave her a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, which she earned in 1999. Wersching started her acting career as a guest on Star Trek: Enterprise. Then she went on to star in guest roles on shows such as Charmed, Killer Instinct and Supernatural. From March to November 2007 she played the role as Amelia Joffe on the ABC Daytime soap series General Hospital. Also, she has been in theaters like Victory Gardens and Marriott Lincolnshire. 2014 saw her become the regular series star for the Amazon Prime crime drama Bosch. Wersching played catcher for the National League during the 2009 Taco Bell All-Star Legends, Celebrity Softball Game and 2009 Taco Bell All-Star Legends. Wersching was also the voice in the role of Tess in The Last of Us on PlayStation 3. Geoff Keighley teased Wersching's character on Twitter prior to her appearance in the Spike Video Game Awards trailer that was shown on the 7th of December, 2012. Wersching is set to play the role of the Borg queen in the Star Trek the second season of Picard, which will premiere in September 2021.
