Danielle Riley
Keough is an American actress. She was born in Santa Monica (California) to the
famous musicians Lisa Marie Presley & Danny Keough she is the
grandchild of actress Priscilla Presley as well as the singer Elvis Presley.
Keough was raised by her father in Hawaii, Los Angeles and was able to spend
time with her mother in California. She started modeling at 15. The appearances
she made at Dolce & Gabbana fashion shows and Christian Dior's
cover-shoots were some of her highlights. Keough made her debut in feature
films at age 20, appearing in a supporting part in the musical biopic The
Runaways (2010), as Marie Currie. She subsequently starred in the thriller
independent film The Good Doctor (2011) followed by the horror film Jack
& Diane (2012), before being part of a minor character in Steven
Soderbergh's comedy film Magic Mike (2012). In 2012, Keough appeared in Yellow
and Kiss of the Damned. Then, she appeared in the action film Mad Max: Fury
Road (2015). This was the fourth installment of the Mad Max series. In 2016,
Keough had her breakthrough role as a law student-turned-escort in the first
season of the anthology series The Girlfriend Experience, executive-produced by
Soderbergh and based on his 2009 film of the same name. She received critical
praise for her performance, and earned an Golden Globe Award nomination for the
best performance by an actress in a limited Series or Motion Picture Made for
Television. Keough's performance as a lost young girl in American Honey (2017)
garnered the same praise and also an Independent Spirit Award nomination. In
the same year, Keough starred the apocalyptic horror film It Comes at Night
(2017) and then reunited with Soderbergh to be a part of his heist film, Logan
Lucky. In the year 2018, she appeared in several horror and thriller films,
including Lars Von Trier’s The House That Jack Built The House That Jack Built,
the Neo-Noir Under the Silver Lake and Hold the Dark. Keough was the lead
character in the 2019 psychological horror film The Lodge. She was next seen in
Zola (2020) as which is a comedy-drama. Keough plays the character Sandy
Harrison in Netflix's 2020 release of The Devil All the Time.
