Alona Tal

Alona Tal, an Israeli-American actor and singer was born on October 20th, 1983 in Herzliya, Israel. She started her career after her service in the Israeli Defense Forces. Her big break was in 2003 when she starred in an Israeli film. She also appeared in two Israeli television shows at the time. She also tried her hand at music and recorded several songs in collaboration with Subliminal who is an Israeli rapper. Tal was moved in with her sister in New York to take a leave from her profession. In New York, she collaborated with Haitian artist Wyclefjean in the song "Party to Damascus". She also established herself as a star on American television, starting by playing a recurring character in the show Veronica Mars: She originally auditioned for the lead role however the creator Rob Thomas wrote a new character just for her. Tal eventually got an ongoing role in the CBS series. After his move to New York, he appeared in two TV shows from Israel. Recorded a track with the singer Wyclef Jean. Her mother tongue is Hebrew. Second place for the role of Veronica Mars (2004). The auditions were initially unsuccessful, and she was Rob Thomas' second choice. Thomas liked her so much that he made the role of Meg Manning specifically for her. She was a member of the Israel Defense Forces. Her parents are Jewish, her father is a Turkish/Jewish man and her mother is Polish/Jewish. Plays the role of Adrian Monk's daughter in the final episode. Her father is Turkish/Jewish.
