Kaitlyn Anne Vincie

Kaitlyn Ann Vincie, born December 10, 1987, is an American journalist and sports host. As reporter for Fox NASCAR, she presents on their weekly news and update program NASCAR Race Hub. Vincie's passion for stock car racing began when she was given a pit lane pass, following graduation from Christopher Newport University, she worked as a journalist at Langley Speedway. Her self-made videos about NASCAR were released on stock car racing website SceneDaily. Vincie was born December 10 of 1987 in Harrisonburg. She was raised in Bridgewater, Virginia before her family moved to Warrenton to begin Vincie's high school. She is the youngest daughter of John and Margaret Vincie. Vincie's maternal grandmother Eleanor N. Logan (a fifth-grade teacher) was her grandfather, who was part of Bridgewater's faculty. From a young age she showed an interest in journalism. Vincie completed her studies at Fauquier High School in 2006. She participated in track and field events, and was a coach of the school's team in wrestling for four years. She won the 800m event at the AAA Cedar Run District. Vincie got to know Al Pearce, who mentored her. He also gave her a lot information. In 2010, she graduated from Christopher Newport University with a bachelor's in communications. Vincie was an intern in the athletics department at the university, as well as a job with the USAR Pro Cup Series at Charlotte Motor Speedway. After securing a pitlane pass for the NASCAR All-Star Race, Vincie completed a senior dissertation on the gender gap in auto racing. She names Krista Voda and Wendy Venturini as her inspirations.
