conceived in Los Angeles on September 20, 1970. Following the birth of her
daughter, her parents moved to Dallas, Texas. She was a graduate of Booker T.
Washington High School of the Performing and Visual Arts in the city center of
Dallas. After graduation, she earned the BFA degree from Stephens College in
acting and was also a student at British American Drama Academy. She also
worked for six years with the Dallas Theatre Center, and one year with the
Encore Company. Prior to her big screen debut she began her acting career in
the theater. Her theatrical credits include "As You Like It", the
"A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum" The "Measure
for Measure", the "Baby" and the "Chicago"
productions, among other productions. Her most memorable performance was in
Michael Cristofer's HBO television series Gia (1998) with Angelina Jolie. She
made her famous to both critics and viewers. Her charismatic acting skills were
apparent in the sci-fi adventure Frequency (2000) which starring Dennis Quaid
and Neil LaBute. Elizabeth Mitchell is an actor with many credits, including
films, television series and theaters. During the filming of Frequency ((2000))
the actress broke her nose. In 1994, she did a Hertz Rent-A-Car commercial but
"they removed it due to the O.J. thing." Living with David Lee Smith,
ex-Brent from One Life to Live (1968) in the Manhattan's Upper West Side. Their
parents are real estate agents from Dallas and tax lawyers who have their own
firm. It is situated just five blocks from their Dallas home. They returned to
the U.S. from Europe after an extended time as Rosalind in a production of the
theater "As As You like It". When she was born in LA in 1970, her
parents moved to Dallas, Texas. She graduated from Booker T. Washington High
School for the Performing and Visual Arts located in the Arts District of
downtown Dallas, Texas. She received her degree from Stephens College in 1991
and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree. Starred in Man and Boy (2002) along
with Ioan Gruffudd. The show was telecast on BBC 1 TV in March 2002.
