Paget Valerie Broughster is an American
actor, singer, and voice actress. Her character as Kathy the character who
appeared in recurring roles on Friends' fourth season, was her first
recognition. Her first big break came when she portrayed Supervisory Special
Agent Emily Prentiss on the crime drama Criminal Minds where she appeared
regularly from 2006 until 2012 and is now back for guest appearances before
returning regularly in 2016. She also played Mr. Mumbles and Elise on Dan Vs.,
Frankie Dart in Community's final season, Birdgirl in Harvey Birdman Attorney
at law, Sara Kingsley in Fox's Grandfathered and Donald Duck’s twin sister
Della on DuckTales 2017, which was the first animated appearance for the
character. Brewster was conceived in Concord, Massachusetts on March 10 of
1969. Her mother, Hathaway Brewster (nee Tew), worked as an official in the
government, while her father, Galen Brewster, worked as an administrator at a
school. Brewster was born in Massachusetts. She made the move to New York City
for Parsons School of Design. In her first year, she made her acting debut and
eventually dropped out of the design school to pursue her acting career.
Brewster moved to San Francisco in mid-90s to enroll in acting classes.
Brewster hosted Paget which was a talk show that aired late at night in the San
Francisco Bay Area between 1994 to 1995 on KPIX-TV. Brewster hosted 65
episodes. She first came to prominent notoriety for her part in the role of
Kathy in the fourth season of NBC's Friends. Huff, Andy Richter Controls the
Universe, and Huff. She played the role of Ms. Indestructible on film, which
was her female lead role in James Gunn’s low-budget superhero comedy The
Specials (2000). She played Amy Pierson, a calculus teacher who is afraid of
water in the independent film The Big Bad Swim, that debuted at the 2006
Tribeca Film Festival. In 2005, she began voice work as Judy Sebben/Birdgirl.
She was a frequent character in the animated series Harvey Birdman Attorney at
Law (and later, she portrayed a similar guest character on American Dad! ).
