Genesis Rodriguez was born in Miami,
Florida. She is the daughter of Jose Luis El Puma' Rodriguez (the famous
Venezuelan singer/actor) as well as Carolina Perez (a Cuban-model). There are
two half-sisters to her. She was educated at the Carrolton School of the Sacred
Heart in Miami. Rodriguez was an actor from an early age. She took summer
classes at Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute and began her own acting
classes. The success continued and she was awarded roles in Spanish language
programs like Prisionera (2004), Dame Chocolate (2007) and Dona Barbara (2008).
She was also a part of Sarah in the popular show "Entourage" (2004).
Film projects include Man on a Ledge (2012) and What to Expect When You're
Expecting (2012). The daughter of Jose Luis 'El Puma' Rodriguez. Half-sister to
Liliana Rodriguez and Lilibeth Morillo. She revealed on The Late Late Show with
Craig Ferguson, 9 January episode of 2013 that she was given the name Genesis
after British rock group Genesis. She's of Venezuelan and Cuban descent. The
