Candace Helaine Cameron Bure is the
youngest of four children. She was born in Panorama, Los Angeles, California to
Robert and Barbara Cameron. Candace followed in the footsteps of her older
brother Kirk Cameron (who played Mike Seaver on Growing Pains (1985), for seven
seasons) and decided to pursue acting. She appeared in numerous commercials,
and also guest-starred in TV shows such as Punky Brewster (1984), St. Elsewhere
(1982) and Who's the Boss? (1984).
