Alice Jane Evans' parents, David Evans a professor of Applied Mathematics of Bristol University, and Janet Evans a English Literature teacher, got married in 1971. Alice obtained a degree in French and Italian at University College London. After moving to Paris she started studying acting at Cours Florent.
